Erster Lichtblick: LONI öffnet wieder die Pforten

Liebe Clubmitglieder,
es klingt fast wie bei der Papstwahl, aber es ist ja auch eine besondere Sache, denn die ersten Lichtblicke tun sich auf: langsam, aber sicher ist es wieder möglich, ins LONI zu kommen!
Die einzuhaltenden Corona-Maßnahmen kommunizieren wir noch (derzeit ändern sie sich noch ständig). Die mittlerweile „normalen“ Sicherheitsmaßnahmen wie Maskentragen und Desinfektion bleiben in jedem Fall bestehen, das Hygienekonzept wird also eingehalten.
D. h. dienstags, donnerstags und freitags ist im LONI das Schachspielen und ein Zusammenkommen in Präsenz grundsätzlich wieder möglich.
So kann der erste Freitagabend in Präsenz nächste Woche, nämlich am 18. Juni 2021, im LONI stattfinden. Wir wollen dann wieder einen regelmäßigen Schachbetrieb ermöglichen. Das heißt: Wer will, kann kommen. Es wird zunächst bei Freundschaftspartien bzw. Blitz/Schnellschach bleiben, aber immerhin …
Genauere Informationen bekommt Ihr noch. Der Vorstand wird das Ganze intensiv beraten.
Apropos: Der Vorstand hat in seiner Sitzung vom 20.05.2021 beschlossen, die Jahresmitgliederversammlung 2021 auf den 23. Juli um 20.00 Uhr zu legen. Sie wird auf jeden Fall durchgeführt: ob virtuell oder in Präsenz, entscheiden wir noch im Einklang mit der Corona-Situation. Ihr werdet es demnächst in der Einladung sehen.
Damit ist letztendlich die Mitgliederversammlung 2020 entfallen, die diesjährige findet aber in jedem Fall statt.
Neben dem Vereinsschach sind natürlich die Mannschaftskämpfe von Interesse. Hierzu gibt es in den nächsten Wochen erste Abstimmungen auf den verschiedenen Ebenen (Land, Bezirk, Kreis). Wir dürfen gespannt sein.
Wichtig ist, dass wir uns alle langsam aus der schachlichen Erstarrung lösen und nach vorne schauen können. Es wird nicht so schnell gehen, wie wir uns das wünschen würden, aber es geht vorwärts.

Umfrage zu Online Training

Der Vereinsvorstand hat in seiner letzten Sitzung beschlossen, unseren Mitgliedern ebenfalls die Möglichkeit eines solchen Trainings bei Yevhenii zu bieten. Und das kostenlos!
Im Juni und Juli soll jeweils so ein Training stattfinden, genaue Modalitäten sind noch nicht festgelegt und hängen u.a. auch vom Zuspruch unserer Mitglieder ab.
Um das Interesse an diesem Online-Training abzufragen, bekommt jedes Vereinsmitglied demnächst eine E-Mail mit einem Link zur Umfrage. In der E-Mail wird dann auch noch mal alles erklärt sein.

Top Chess Engine Championship

TCEC (Top Chess Engine Championship) ist ein Computerschachturnier, das über eine ganze Saison gespielt wird. Eine Saison ist in mehrere Abschnitte unterteilt und dauert etwa 3-4 Monate. Der Sieger der Saison wird der TCEC Champion.
Partien werden ausschließlich zwischen Engines von unterschiedlichen Programmierern gespielt. Sowohl alte Bekannte wie z.B. Vorjahressieger Stockfish und Komodo als auch viele Neueinsteiger sind dabei. Hier die Komplettliste der Teilnehmer einschl. deren ELO Zahl.
Über die Saison weg werden ingesamt 5 Einzelturniere gespielt (s. Tabelle) von der Quali (findet momentan statt) bis zum Superfinale.
Die Partien werden dabei jeweils nicht von der Grundaufstellung aus gespielt, sondern es werden Positionen nach bestimmten Kriterien zufällig aus dem Eröffnungsbuch ausgewählt. Auf der Seite des Ausrichters ist das alles näher erklärt.

Gefälschte Outlook - Termin Einladungen

Aktuell werden verstärkt Einladungen zu gefälschten Outlook-Terminen versendet. Wer auf diese reagiert – antwortet, zu- oder absagt – tappt in die Falle von Datensammlern, die auf diesem Wege prüfen, ob E-Mail-Adressen aktiv sind.
Ein Artikel darüber habe ich z.B. bei www.pressebox.de gefunden.
Einige Mitglieder berichten auch schon über solche E-Mails. Die Mails erwecken den Eindruck, dass sie von anderer Mitgliedern vom Schachclub stammen. Die angeblichen Meeting-Teilnehmer sind alles Leute aus dem Schachclub.
Es könnte also sein, dass der E-Mail Account eines oder mehrerer Mitglieder gehackt wurde und die Spam Mails an Leute aus deren Adressverzeichnis geschickt werden.
Mitglieder von uns, die eventuell betroffen sind werde ich jeweils informieren.
Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall wieder mal, seinen Virenscanner aktuell zu halten bzw. überhaupt einen zu installieren/aktivieren falls man keinen am Laufen hat.
